Authorities suspend the search for a rig worker who went missing after an oil and gas platform exploded in Louisiana.

The Coast Guard suspended the search for 44-year-old Timothy Morrison.

The incident happened Sunday near New Orleans when the platform exploded while maintenance was being done.

Seven people were hospitalized, and three are in critical condition.

Authorities on the scene say cleaning chemicals ignited the structure, but the exact cause of the explosion is unknown.
