White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says President Trump has accepted the House speaker’s invitation to deliver the State of the Union address in January.

Sanders made the announcement during Thursday’s press briefing after Paul Ryan’s office extended the invitation earlier in the day.

Additionally, Sanders pushed back on rumors Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is being replaced, saying when the president loses confidence in someone they will no longer be serving.

She adds the president and Tillerson are continuing to work together to close out — what she called — an incredible year.

Sanders also discussed tax reform, saying the president’s priorities are fulfilled in both the House and Senate bills.
