New York City police are responding to an explosion at a Port Authority bus terminal near Times Square.

Officials say a possible pipe bomb was detonated Monday morning in an MTA passageway at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue.

Authorities say one man is in custody and a total of four people are injured, including the suspect.All injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

The facility has been evacuated as police, the bomb squad, and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force investigate the incident.

Roads have been shutdown in the area, and White House officials say President Trump has been briefed on the situation.
