Rex Tillerson is out as President Trump’s Secretary of State.

In a tweet Tuesday morning, the president announced CIA Director Mike Pompeo as Tillerson’s replacement.

He went on to thank Tillerson for his service, while also tapping Deputy CIA Director Gina Haspel as the new leader of the agency.

The president also noted she will be the first female director.

Tillerson’s exit has been speculated for some time now due to a conflicting views on domestic and foreign policy.

The president said he and Tillerson are still on good terms despite their contentious relationship.
