The Federal Election Commission said Hillary Clinton transferred nearly $150,000 of leftover campaign funds to her personally owned company in the months following her election defeat.

According to filings with the FEC, the Clinton campaign has been transferring donations funds to ZFS Holdings LLC since May of 2017 for the purpose of rent.

The rent payments to ZFS were sent to the same address as Rorrie Gregorio, who is Clinton’s personal financial manager.

Brad Smith, a former FEC chairman, said the transfer has a certain fishiness to it.

He added, using campaign funds for personal use is a violation of federal campaign law which can result in prosecution and jail time.
