Congressman Devin Nunes is giving the Justice Department and FBI until tomorrow to hand over documents related to reports the Obama administration allegedly spied on the president’s 2016 campaign.
The House Intelligence Committee chairman sent a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, demanding the documents be turned over to all committee members.
Nunes accused the Department of Justice and the bureau of using stalling tactics.
He said that any more delay would be “an obstruction of a lawful congressional investigation.”
His request comes after the DOJ announced it would only allow bipartisan members of the so-called Gang of Eight to review the documents.
