Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomes President Trump’s comments to join the G7 Summit despite the reluctance of other members.

In a statement today at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Putin said it wasn’t Russia who left the industrial coalition.

He went on to say Russia would be ‘ready to greet them all in Moscow’ and is ready to meet with President Trump when the time is right.

Putin even suggested hosting the summit should it take place.

This comes just two days after President Trump suggested Russia should be at the G7 Summit in Quebec, Canada.
