A Democrat Harvard Law professor is speaking out on the future of his party.
In a radio interview Tuesday, Alan Dershowitz said he doesn’t want Senator Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — the Democrat nominee for New York’s 14th District — to represent the party.
If radical candidates keep winning races, Dershowitz claims the Democrat party will lose support in the midterms and 2020 presidential elections.
Dershowitz went on to say he hopes to make the party more centrist, and to unite people instead of divide them.
Although the law professor is left-leaning, he says he hopes President Trump nominates a true conservative to the Supreme Court.
