The former national security adviser of President Obama is speaking out on the impact the Affordable Care Act has made on the country.
In an interview Tuesday, Ben Rhodes said the Obama administration “misguided” how difficult it would be to have the act approved, and underestimated the opposition it would receive.
During the voting process, Obamacare did not receive any Republican support and was even opposed by some Democrats.
Rhodes went on to say the act kept the Obama administration from focusing on issues it planned on tackling, including immigration reform.
His remarks come as the Trump administration continues to push to repeal Obamacare.
