The National Republican Congressional Committee is withdrawing its support for a New Jersey Republican after he shared racist posts on social media.
The organization withdrew their support for congressional candidate Seth Grossman on Monday, saying “bigotry has no place in society.”
This comes after a report revealed Grossman wrote articles for several so-called “white nationalist websites,” where he labeled African Americans as “a threat to society.”
The GOP candidate has been slammed in the past for making anti-Muslim comments on his Facebook page.
Grossman won the state’s Republican primary in June, and is set to face off against Democrat Senator Jeff Van Drew for the House seat in November.
