President Trump says the EU may treat the nation as unfairly on trade as China does.
The president said the EU is possibly as bad as China, saying what they do to the U.S. on trade is “terrible,” during an interview Sunday.
The president specifically cited taxes on vehicle imports and exports, as well as how they treat American farm products.
He also pointed out the EU made a $151 billion surplus off trade with the U.S., while the U.S. spends a fortune on NATO.
The president continues to double down on his tariffs against the EU, in an effort to bring the nation to the table to negotiate a fair trade deal.
