The Kremlin said Crimea is not a topic on the agenda during the upcoming U.S.-Russia summit.
In a statement Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Crimea is an inseparable part of the country, adding, he does not plan on discussing the subject with President Trump.
The Crimean peninsula was annexed from Ukraine in 2014, which resulted in U.S. sanctions against Russia.
President Trump declined to officially announce his stance on the issue, but said he is still open to discussing the move.
The report comes as the country continues to make preparations for the U.S.-Russia summit.
