Lawmakers are reacting after disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok’s long-awaited hearing on Capitol Hill.
North Carolina Republican Mark Walker was involved in a heated interaction Thursday after pressing Strzok on the tens-of-thousands of texts he sent to his mistress, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, while he was working on the Russia probe.
Court documents reveal Strzok sometimes sent over 100 personal texts a day to Page, many of which expressed bias against President Trump.
One America News caught up with Walker to get his reaction following the explosive hearing.
“I have a major problem. about the volume,” said Walker. “My question to which — that’s a problem.”
After defying a congressional subpoena Wednesday, Page has agreed to meet with congressmen in closed-door sessions Friday and again on Monday.
House Speaker Paul Ryan indicated he would be willing to hold her in contempt for refusing to cooperate.
