Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows says the recent release of FISA documents regarding Carter Page may be a bombshell.
In a tweet, Meadows called the release ‘a potentially ground-breaking development;’ also calling for further un-redacting and declassification and of the 412-pages.
He also said if the Obama administration funneled campaign research toward surveillance, the American people deserve to know.
Also responding to the documents’ release Saturday was House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
In a statement, Pelosi said the documents provide clear evidence of Russia’s coordination with Carter Page to illegally influence the 2016 presidential election.
