A top contender to replace retired justice Anthony Kennedy, is receiving push back from the GOP
Conservatives are claiming prospective candidate Brett Kavanaugh is too moderate, just before the president is expected to announce his pick on Monday.
Critics say Kavanaugh’s has historically gone easy on the issues of Obamacare and abortion, which may hinder his chances of gaining the seat.
Republicans also said Kavanaugh enabled the supreme court ruling that saved the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate.
This as the administration continues its efforts fill the Supreme Court with conservative justices.
