A Texas Army Reserve base was placed on lockdown following reports of shots fired.
Authorities were alerted Tuesday morning about possible gunfire and an active shooter situation at the base in Seagoville, which is located southeast of Dallas.
The facility was placed on lockdown and quickly evacuated once authorities arrived.
A bullet fragment was discovered following an initial sweep of the buildings, but the Dallas County Sheriff’s office confirmed no active shooter was found.
Authorities are conducting a second sweep of the base.
There are no reports of any injuries.
