President Trump is calling for prison reform, saying he wants to people to get a second chance.
In a tweet Saturday, the president touted low African American and Hispanic unemployment rates before pushing for prison reform.
The president finished his tweet saying he will never stop fighting for all Americans.
I am proud to have fought for and secured the LOWEST African American and Hispanic unemployment rates in history. Now I’m pushing for prison reform to give people who have paid their debt to society a second chance. I will never stop fighting for ALL Americans!

This comes after the president held a round table discussion this week with the nation’s governors on how to overhaul the prison system in the U.S.
