With Hurricane Florence bearing down on the East Coast, residents in North Carolina are rushing to fuel up their gas tanks before it’s too late.
Massive evacuation orders have already led to shortages in some gas stations across the region.
Stations in parts of South Carolina and Virginia could also experience gas shortages, as the storm approaches.
While analysts don’t expect a widespread shortage, drivers are planning ahead after previous hurricanes have caused temporary outages in Florida and Texas.
AAA is also keeping an eye on gas prices in the path of Hurricane Florence.
