Vice President Mike Pence honors service members at the Korean War Veterans Memorial flag presentation.
Pence praised the veterans saying “their duty is to serve, our duty is to remember,” at the memorial in Washington Thursday.
He said he hopes the flag will provide families a reminder their loved ones will never be forgotten.
Pence also said the White House will continue pursuing the return of the remains of soldiers who died during the Korean War.
This comes as the Pentagon offered to meet with North Korea next month to recover more Korean War veteran remains.
Roughly 7,000 U.S. service members remain unaccounted for.
