Trade tensions between the U.S. and China do not appear to be easing up, as President Trump prepares to hit Beijing with more tariffs.
Bloomberg reported Friday, the president told aides he wanted to move forward with tariffs on $200 billion more on Chinese imports.
This, as reports claimed earlier in the week the U.S. and China would restart negotiations.
Just on Thursday, the president said he is under no pressure to make a deal with China, but rather China is under pressure to make a deal with the U.S.
Each side has imposed $50 billion worth of tariffs already this year.
