FBI Director Christopher Wray claims the series of package bombs sent to several public figures are not “hoax devices.”
During a news conference on Friday, Wray refuted theories the devices were false flags or staged attacks.
He also thanked law enforcement for their work in apprehending 56 year old ‘Cesar Sayoc’ – who authorities say manufactured the devices.
The suspect faces federal charges including illegal mailing of explosives and assault on current and former federal officials.
This, as Wray warns other packages with explosive devices could still be sent.
Meanwhile, he is cautioning the public to remain vigilant as an investigation into the incidents continues.
