Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s security clearance is revoked at her request.
Clinton’s clearance was withdrawn on August 30, according to a letter Friday from the State Department to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley.
Five others associated with Clinton, including longtime aide Cheryl Mills, had their clearances revoked on September 20.
The names of the four additional aides were redacted by the State Department.
The move comes nearly a year after Grassley asked the department to investigate whether Clinton’s aides still had security clearance.
