Special Counsel prosecutors are accusing Paul Manafort of violating the terms of his plea agreement.
The Special Counsel’s status report Monday said Manafort lied to the FBI and Mueller’s office “on a variety of subject matters.”
Manafort was found guilty in August on eight-counts of tax and bank fraud.
In the face of a second trial in September, he agreed to cooporate with the Special Counsel’s investigation.
Manafort denies lying, and said he provided information to the government, as well as lived-up to his end of the deal.
Nonetheless, both sides are calling for an immediate sentencing before a D.C. judge.
