President Trump taps a well-respected national security adviser to work for him in the White House.
Joan O’Hara was appointed Executive Secretary of the President’s National Security Council on Friday.
She brings decades of experience to the position, after having served on the House Homeland Security Committee, and as an adviser to Vice President Mike Pence.
O’Hara specializes in a broad range of defense, security and foreign policy matters, and has been acknowledged in the past for success in a male-dominated field.
